Walker declared a State of Emergency in Wisconsin on August 29, 2018 because of wide-spread flooding and storm damage in numerous counties.

Work to replace the bridges is underway. Construction is scheduled for completion in mid-November. Kraemer North America of Plain, WI is the primary contractor.

The project includes the replacement of the structures spanning Black Earth Creek in western Dane County.
